Mississippi permit test questions people ask

What is the Mississippi learner’s permit test like?

It is the Computerized Exam: multiple choice, built from the Driver’s License Manual, with a focus on Mississippi traffic law, safe driving and licensing rules. A headset can read every question aloud.

The exam is taken in person at a Driver License Station with no phone, earbuds or smart watch in the room. Neither the manual nor the DSB pages give a question count or passing score, so OneTryPass does not quote one.

What are the rules for a Mississippi learner’s permit?

A permit holder drives only with a licensed driver 21 or older in the next seat and keeps the permit at least 12 months before a regular license, unless 17 or older.

Under 17, the move to a license needs a parent, teacher or guardian to swear to at least fifty hours of watched driving. From July 1, 2027, finishing driver’s education becomes a requirement for every new driver.
