OneTryPass keeps what it needs to run the site and your practice packs, and nothing for advertising. There are no ad networks or third-party trackers on the site.
Visit statistics
To count visits, the site stores a random ID in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) and starts a new visit after 30 minutes without activity. Each page you open sends our own server, at onetrypass.com/api:
- the random visitor and visit IDs, the page address and its title;
- the address query, with codes, tokens, emails, phone numbers and payment parameters removed before it leaves your browser;
- screen size, browser language, time zone and whether the screen is touch-enabled;
- on the first page of a visit, the site you came from and any campaign tags in the link;
- every 15 seconds while the page is open, how long it has been on screen and how far you scrolled.
Like any website, our server also receives your IP address and browser type with each request. Automated browsers are not counted.
If you buy a practice pack
Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page. Stripe handles your card; OneTryPass never sees or stores the card number. We keep your email address, what you bought, the amount and the date, so we can give you access, send your receipt and handle refunds.
Signing in
There are no passwords. To sign in, you get a 6-digit code at your email address. Your practice progress is saved on your device so you can study offline.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- We don't use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks.
- The free sample tests work without an account and send nothing about your answers.
Your choices
You can clear the site's local storage in your browser settings at any time. To see or delete the information tied to your email, write to [email protected].
